Asgerdur Edda Langworth was born and raised in Egilsstadir, Iceland.

In the fall of 1996 she moved to British Columbia, Canada, with her family.  She completed a BA in communication and Publishing from Simon Fraser University in 1999 and founded Elan Multimedia in 2000. She worked as assistant coordinator of the SFU Summer Publishing Workshops in Vancouver from 2001 - 2002 and as Acting Coordinator for Award Fundraising at the same university from 2002 - 2003.

After moving back to Iceland in 2004 she worked as Project Manager at EcSoftware in Reykjavik Iceland from 2004 - 2005 and then as Web Consultant and Developer at Athygli PR and Publishing until January 1 2011 when she found Elan margmiðlun Inc.

After moving to Vancouver again in July 2011 she reignited Elan multimedia as a sister company of Elan margmiðlun Inc. in Iceland.

Edda Langworth resides in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver along with her husband Kent Langworth and their two sons.
